The Okmulgee Rodeo 2024…. man say

I’ve never seen soooooo many humans tryna get inside of a Rodeo in my life… what a time!

What a beautiful moment for the culture. What a beautiful moment for the COWBOY.

Ok… I just had to get that part out the way. No pun.

I know it’s been a while since I’ve been able to blog and lemme tell yah… I appreciate them emails and DM’s about story time. I heard you!! Boys just been working that’s all… it’s on deeeee way

NOW… lemme trim this fat so we can get right to the steak ok?

Boys did a deal with Ford for the Rodeo and once that was done, it was time to build the table. So I drove to East Texas and went to go see one of my favorite humans and THEE OLDE APOTHECARY. I was there to pick up the finished product of the my 1st Herbal Tea. The Cowboy Cooler is available now. It was her Birthday and here she was… at work, doing exactly what she loves to do. Her smile and her energy will change anybody’s mood! We talk… we discuss new products… she’s excited about the Rodeo! So I brought her some merchandise and she provided me with new samples of something else we working on… it’s coming.

Alright moving right along…

So I went down to the Stockyards in Funky Town, Tehas! Walked right into “Into The West” furniture store… explained a Radical Idea and they loved it! During these talks, you find some beautiful humans and some creatives. These humans are both! I can’t wait for them to see how we did it…

Table is built… time to call the Team.

Everybody on Zoom gotta come into the office this weekend, ok? Cool…

The Team showed up, buttoned up wit a smile on ready to work!!

It was nothing shorter than pure GREATNESS. You just had to see it.

Now listen… It’s a lot of noise. Respectfully…but that was waaaay to many humans for some people. A lot of people realized why they stay at home so much and how much they enjoy a their space and quiet time. These beautiful Rodeo’s that we grew up going too are now tourist attractions. People google these things and then travel to it. That’s a lot of noise to somebody that’s use to coming to this Rodeo every year. Like this a tradition… it be a lot of people but where all y’all come from? Aye get somewhere and sit down!

The Rodeo was over packed… Like I’ve never seen humans in the arena during a pony express race… that’s dangerous bro. Like say buddy… get outta there, that’s a bad spot my boy. There was nowhere else to sit or stand… that’s how packed it was. By this time… Unc made an executive decision to gone and get OUT THE WAY. This is what I’m telling Rocket in this photo.

Back to Camp… and here is where all the magic happened.

The beautiful set that was provided from Into The West was beacon that attracted all the creatives. Nicole Jocleen conducted all of her FaceTime interviews with opulence my boy! OUT THE WAY. Jay Rid shot and directed some things we can’t discuss right now. OUT THE WAY. It was a moment when I looked up and saw all of these beautiful humans and different business entities moving as a unit, OUT THE WAY.

I ain’t here to cause no problems and make nobody uncomfortable, I’m here to run my play, OUT THE WAY.

I can’t wait for everybody to see the footage and images from the time we had. We clawed and fought for that win! We did what we said we was gone do and it worked! Im so thankful for the gang. Everybody showed up, everybody was smiling and most importantly… everybody was COMFORTABLE.

I simply want to say… THANK YOU.
